30 Hours for a Rainbow Returns on 27 June with Live Music, Special Events and Fundraising Across the UK

today10 June 2026

GlitterBeam’s biggest fundraising event of the year is back.

On Saturday 27 June at 11am, presenters Eugenio and Mikey will begin another edition of 30 Hours for a Rainbow, the charity radiothon that brings together listeners, venues, community groups and charities from across the UK for a weekend of entertainment and fundraising.

Broadcasting live without interruption until 7pm on Sunday 28 June, the challenge will see the pair spend 32 hours on air while raising money for a range of organisations making a real difference in their communities.

This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever, with live performances from artists visiting the studio, special guests, interactive games and one of the most ambitious schedules GlitterBeam has ever produced.

Among the highlights will be the return of the popular Gig-Lets, bringing live music performances directly into the studio. Listeners can also enjoy a live murder mystery presented by the Brighton-based team at Murder Actually, alongside a huge Battle of the Decades, where the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s go head-to-head in a celebration of music, memories and nostalgia.

At the heart of 30 Hours for a Rainbow, however, is fundraising.

For the 2026 edition, GlitterBeam has partnered with venues and events across the country, each supporting a charity of their choice. Throughout the weekend, these partners will host activities, performances and fundraising initiatives, helping to generate donations for causes that matter to them and their communities.

In addition, all donations collected directly by GlitterBeam during the radiothon will be shared equally between the organisations involved.
